Bahrain International Circuit, ‘The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East’ is all set to host tomorrow (Friday, May 14, 2010) the exciting final round of the 2009/2010 Batelco 2,000cc Challenge.
The meeting will see the year-long rivalries between the Kingdom’s top motor racing drivers reach a dramatic climax. Most importantly, it will decide who takes home the coveted drivers’ title, which is currently being contested by defending champion Mustafa Al Khan, and chief championship rivals Shaikh Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Shaikh Salman bin Isa Al Khalifa, and Shaikh Jaber bin Ali Al Khalifa.
The round is being organized by the Circuit Racing Club in cooperation with the Bahrain Motor Federation and Bahrain International Circuit. Action will be held on the circuit's 2.55km inner track.
Apart from all the thrills and spills set to be witnessed on the tarmac, there will also be plenty of activities and entertainment. Carnival booths, games, music, and many other activities make for an fun day out for the entire fammily, while food and beverage stalls will also be available at the venue.
