Al Khan has done it once again and picked up first place during the second race of the Batelco 2000CC Challenge which supported the Gulf Air Desert 400 this weekend at Bahrain International Circuit.
Following heated competition between the top driver, Abdul Rahman Ghuloom and Michael Spahn, the young-gun did it again finishing the race with a time 19:46.2030s leaving Ghuloom in second position and Spahn in third.
With the Batelco 2000CC Challenge now in its second season, last year witnessed a spectacular first season with fierce competition from Al Khan who challenged current champion, Shaikh Salman bin Isa bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa.
As the Challenge is painting itself as an opportune series for local racing talents to exhibit their skills, it has also been made possible through the cooperation from the Circuit Racing club, the series organizers, and BIC, the promoters, as drivers compete in their self-built cars prepared to BMF sporting regulations.
