Bahrain International Circuit will this Ramadan host two rounds of the exciting sport of autocross.
Organized in cooperation with the Bahrain Circuit Racing Club (CRC), the events are expected to draw thousands of motor racing fans who will get a chance to see some of the Kingdom’s top drivers compete against each other for fantastic prizes.

The event is open to all drivers who have at least a D Competition License from the Bahrain Motor Federation. Interested participants may register from today for a fee of BD10. Entries will also be accepted on the evening of the events at least 30 minutes before racing starts.

The first round will take place on the evening of Friday, August 28. The next will be held two weekends later on Friday, September 11.

The format and duration of every session in each event will be determined by the race officials on the same night, depending on the number of entrants. There will be practice runs before racing gets underway.

The competition will be held along a specially erected course at the car park of Bahrain International Circuit, with spectator seating just metres away from all the action to give fans a truly exciting and memorable experience.

All participating drivers will be required to agree to the rules and regulations before taking part. They all must also go through a series of checks to ensure that their cars meet the safety standards. These include making sure that the car is free of any leaks or tyre damage, the windows are in good and working condition, the driver’s seat belt is functioning properly, and the exclusion of any tools or equipment in the car that may be a hazard while competing as well as any external features that may be potentially dangerous to spectators.

This year’s events follow the huge success of the autocross rounds held during Ramadan last year. The rip-roaring action must not to be missed! All are welcome to attend the rounds, free of charge.
