About CRC
Two decades of circuit racing in Bahrain
The Circuit Racing Club (CRC) was established in 2004 under the General Organization for Youth and Sports, with one purpose: to oversee, organise and administer circuit racing events in Bahrain. In 2022 it became the Bahrain Circuit Racing Commission of the Bahrain Motor Federation (BMF), continuing the same work with the national federation behind it.
Over the years, CRC has created and run 13 championships, from single-seaters and one-make series to autocross, sprints and motorcycles. The most notable is the 2000cc Challenge, which ran for 16 seasons and grew into today's Bahrain Touring Car Challenge.
That experience is CRC's strength. The commission holds deep technical and sporting expertise in running circuit racing, and works closely with its stakeholders, the Bahrain Motor Federation and Bahrain International Circuit, to give local drivers safe, fair and competitive racing.
